the first ‘bad’ review

Well, here we go. We have a 3-star review of a user complaining about crashes. We feel terrible, but really can’t help the poor guy. We don’t know what images he is using and why (so far) only he seems to have this problem (if it really would crash that often, we would know this ourselves and Apple would never approve the app).
What he is describing seem to be memory warnings where the OS unloads some of our resources :(
We wish users with these type of problems would write us a support email (support@blacklizardstudios.com) so we can figure our what’s happening, maybe help and maybe release a fix.

working on professional features

Well, here we are nearing our 1.5 update. We are adding some exciting features: posting to facebook and twitter, high-quality picture frames etc.
We are taking our time to make sure everything is perfect. Getting the picture frames just right, make the quality perfect. Making the user interface intuitive and easy to use.
Optimizing the performance etc etc.
As always, we want to deliver the best experience to you.

Well, we learned a valuable lesson. iPad performance and and simulator performance are very different things. After almost one week of hard tuning PixelMagic performance is now great on the iPad as well :)

So, here we are. PixelMagic has been accepted to the iPad AppStore. After months of hard work and way too much coffee, we are finally ready.
We are taking a small break - designing the next feature set. Our plan is to release new features once a month.
You will be seeing many features arrive that you feel might be missing now.
